Happy Fourth of July to everyone.

Carmen, yes I'm the one with the picnic. It will probably go from noon until 8 pm or so. My husband and his family will play volleyball. I won't because they take it a little too seriously - his brother once knocked me down and caused a bloodly lip. So, I will have eight hours with not much to do. Not sure how I feel about that. Would it be rude to take a book? Have a great day everyone - big hugs to all!

nope it would not be rude to take a book, needle work, hell if you have a laptop take it..rofl.. just go and enjoy yourself, you could always play volleyball and return the favor to the brother in law, give him a black eye..

Happy 4th Tee, have fun and report back to us..time for me to run, have to work today..

Morning...guys..

Glenn the frogs are so cute!!!

Carmen...enjoy the neighbor watching...sounds like it is nice and relaxing sitting on the porch...

Terri...take a book to the picnic...LOL I would...the volleyball sounds like they play like it is the Olympic Trials...

Zinnia...fireworks over Lake Michigan sounds lovely...hope you get some time for yourself today.

My hubby had to go out of town and my step-children are visiting others...so it will be me and my two biological kids...

Daughter coming in from where she is stationed at Ft. Hood.

We are going to spend the weekend visiting, playing Scrabble, and going to see the fireworks in Beaumont, where the Beaumont Symphony will also be playing. It's not the Boston Pops but, a symphony is still a symphony...

You guys have a good one...I will be on and off line today...

And to those who read this thread but, don't post, don't be shy...it is for everyone...just jump right in...
