MDJunction to me

peasha"This has been one of the most supportive places I have ever been. I found MDJ by mistaking looking for drs to help me with my many health issues and since that day over a year ago I have found a tight nit little family that keeps me going when the times are tough and offers me a place of retreat to share my successes and failures with others. I get to see the humor and seriousness of what I experience as well as the resources to learn about my health conditions. Thanks MDJ" (peasha)

Hi, did someone else start already? I'm making dinner and watching the news - mostly about the cost of petrol. It sure makes you think twice about a driving holiday, although abviously better for the environment. See you later.

Where is everyone, what did I do wrong? I'm paranoid that I've transgressed some rule I didn't know about - seriously

Thanks, Lobo - I really was serious, somehow I am one of those people who can't make friends, even with the mothers at school, and always think I have alienated people somehow. I don't have a 'best' or indeed any friends, just don't have the knack, parents were the same.

I can get paranoid about what people think.

I like your new look!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - I think the best one since I joined. Wouldn't it be nice if we could change our looks this quickly!

Good aftenoon fizz. I don't have the knack for making lots of friends either and most of it is my own choice. I just don't do well with trite dribble and idle conversation which apparently is necessary to sustain shallow relationships lol. I may only have a good friend or two, but they are the real thing.

Good Day, Fizz! Good morning, all others. Smile

Fizz, it's about 6:20 am here, and I'm in the eastern time zone, so it's even earlier for a lot of others. I just got up and I'm getting my first cup of coffee. I look forward to "chatting/typing at" you each morning.

Cool Cool Man, Lobo, that sun is too bright..lol, Good Morning all, how be you?

Fizzio dear, we need to have a talk, first and foremost, it is anyone's choice as to whether or not they open, the easiest way to tell is to look in the list of topics, click on the lounge-Off topic discussions at the top of the pages here, and it will take you to the main list, you can scroll down and see if anyone has opened, you can put a link to the new page in the old one, but only a leader can lock the old one so that people will post over here rather than over there, ok?

Well, the Weds is looking up, since Sunday, Monday and Tuesday has gone to hell..lol, let's see, blow out on Sunday, home sick from work Monday, wake up from nap Monday afternoon and find out the axle on my car has broken with the sister in law in it.. (bright point for Monday, we got the money that we needed to fix it.) ordered the parts, and had a nice dinner, Tuesday, the part we ordered for the caddie came in, the parts for the Toyota came in, I picked the Toyota parts up, without beating the crap out of some drivers who seriously needed it, Glenn gets home from work, we were expecting the brother to come and get the tow dolly, as his truck had broke down.. but he got it running again, then Glenn gets the wheel off the Toyota, is peeking up under the car, gets the broke axle out, and then goes (Uh-Oh) I don't like it when he goes Uh-Oh, cause it means one of two things, it's going to cost a lot of money or it's going to be a bitch getting the work done, last time he went Uh-Oh, was at my baby brothers and they had to go buy a new washer..lol so his Uh-oh, this time it meant that he had found that the little things that holds on the axle had sheared off, and now we might be looking at dropping the transmission to get at it..thankfully, although I am sure his body isn't going to say thankfully, he was able to pop them out and put in bolts in their place to hold on the new axles, we got both of them changed out, now we have to decide if we are buying a tire for the caddie this week or waiting till next week till payday to get it, we've decided on going new as the 20.00 difference between new and used says it makes more sense to go new, I'm not sure if it is bad karma on me, or it is my Sister in law who is a jinx, all this started this time cause the engine in her car blew up, lol, her car, then the caddie, then my car, and I called the baby brother and his car has been in the shop and then the brother who is married to the one that blew up the engine was driving his truck and it died..hence needing to come over and get the tow dolly from us..rofl..

I swear, I wanted to just kill something.. so how has your week been so far?Blink Blink Blink

Hey carmen...what rotten luck to start out the week with. I hope hump day gets you past all that. Glad Glenn knows how to do all that stuff.

Carmen - ((((((HUGS))))))/! I hope things look up soon! I'm sending positive thoughts and energy your way!!!!!!

My daughter's graduation party is all set for Friday evening. I've been busy running around getting all the last minute details together. I absolutely hate hosting such things, but I've made it as easy on myself as possible - rented a hall so I don't have to prepare the house and yard. My husband has been working lots of overtime, and I didn't want him to stress.

It's always an event when our two families get together - mine is what you'd call kind of free-spirited, and his is sort of uptight. Makes things interesting, LOL.

Smile, thanks Lobo, it has been one of those weeks, lol, told the lady at the store where I had parked after having the blow out, that the next time I walk in and say "I need a drink" we need to send someone to the store to get a bottle of 151..

I did have some fun yesterday, I got in some serious porch time, watched this bee driving himself crazy from trying to remember what flower it was that he had already visited, and listened to the birds and the breeze, very relaxing.. last night after Glenn got done, we were sitting out under the tree just chilling out, and saw that we have fire fly's out now..so pretty..

I am very grateful that Glenn knows how to do things like this, just sad that he has too, as it kills him body wise, he'll be paying for this with pain for the next few days Sad,

The first hubby wasn't trusted with even putting water in the car after he plugged up the cooling system on one of the cars, but his ineptitude is what has made me be able to do basic repairs.

The second hubby could work on tractor trailers but could not be trusted to get less than 50 feet from the car without messing it up.

Third husband, thought he was a major mechanic, but gratefully learned he wasn't prior to my knowing him, and would trade out a car before it died..

Now Glenn, although I fuss about his need for new tools all the time, knows what he is doing, I even trust him to fix the brakes on my car..lol..

Good Morning Tee, how are you this AM, fizzio? where did you wander off too? eating dinner?

Lobo, love the new you..
