Hi, cold in Melbourne, the Kangaroos just beat the Hawks (aussie rules). We were just watching Nascar and some show having a debate about baseball teams on Foxtel. Hard to figure. All we have to do is decide what to do with the time that is given to us. Gandalf, LOTR |

I have an awful cold, couldn't work last week - the result of too much stress with kids. But we just watched Funniest Home Videos (most of which are American), this always cheers me up. I keep a very old copy of FHV Greatest Hits on VHS and put it on when I really need to laugh. How is your corner of the world? Do you work on weekends? My parents are in their 70s and still run their own business. All we have to do is decide what to do with the time that is given to us. Gandalf, LOTR

 Fizzio? did you make coffee? lol, probably not as you are at night and need to sleep, just incase, I've put on a pot, us sleepy heads here in the states, require lots and lots of coffee to wake up..except for Red and a couple of others, they need tea..Glenn was watching Nascar yesterday..when I got home from work, good thing we both like it.. So besides cold, how cold is it? what is your weather down there? |

It is 15 degrees today (Celcius) and rainy. We have noticed less rain in the less few years and are on permanent water restrictions now, can't wash the cars and only water the garden twice per week. Fizzio, Yesterday was the first day of summer here. It was 80 and sunny - just perfect! I live in Ohio. The winter was very cold and very snowy this year, so no water restrictions here - but I know some states have them. I teach school (elementary special ed), so I get the summer off - don't go back until Sept. 2!!!
