CARMEN OPENED UP THIS MORNING AND WROTE: Good Morning y'all, the weekend is almost upon us, so what grand plans do you have? for me it's work and more work.. Think that Glenn is going to be going over to Mom's to cut her lawn for her, which is a good thing, last time we were over there, it was starting to look like she would walk out the back door and never be seen again.. The bad thing about not having Glenn's truck, we can't just hook up the trailer and take it over there. So coffee is just about ready, Tea is ready, and fresh fruit at the oceans edge.. AND: Never start typing before the first sip of coffee, today is the 13th, not the 12th..sorry about that Now RED's talking: I dumped the existing thread, changed the date and coppied what was written here. Good Mornging All; Hope all are waking to a beautiful day, Hot and humid on the Bayou with major thunderstorms. Glenn hope that ear gets better,I know how bad an ear infection can be. Hope all that pass this way are healthy and well. Dreux Life is a journey, not a destination.

Morning All! Hope it's the start of a fantastic day! It is supposed to be 90 and thunderstorms here, as well. Today is Friday the 13th - is anyone superstitious? Thanks for fixing my screw up, thought about doing that myself, and said to heck with it. Glenn is off to work, the med didn't seem to help him all that much, I offered to hook up a garden hose to the other ear and flush it out, but for some reason he didn't want to take me up on it..  Dreux sorry to hear about the bad weather and stuff, how are you doing this AM? I'm debating on going back to bed, have to work this evening. We have beautiful sun shine, and right at the moment it's nice outside, but it won't take long for the heat and humidity to kick in.. sat out on the porch for a bit, was looking at my hanging pots, and I am not sure, but I expect them to go belly up on me here in a week, the flowers are all dropping off, and new ones don't seem to be kicking in that fast, guess I will wait and see, if they do kick over, I can replant them with something else, have begonia's in the pots on the plant stand.. Still catching up on "spring cleaning". I have three black cats that came with the house. When we moved in I started feeding one and she soon brought her kittens along. They stay outside, but I've had them spayed/neutered and shots taken care of. So, I guess I'm not superstitious, either. I believe we make our own luck. lol, don't forget to leave some beach time for you, the housework will still be there when the summer hits, and it is too hot to be outside, we are not allowed pets here where we live, but there are a lot of "strays" that are around, out of all of them that are running around it seems to be just the black ones that come up to see if there is anything outside to eat..lol, Glenn and I don't waste food, if there are left overs that I know we are not going to eat the cats get it, been thinking about getting them a bowl and a bag of food, but knowing my luck, the landlord would see it, and decide that we have cats and we would have to move, feeding them leftovers he really can't say anything.. it's going to be a while before I get days off again, the boss has changed up the schedule, taken my weekends away, so I am looking at doing 9 days straight before a day off.. |

HUGS to all! Presently 80 in SO IL. High temps toward 90 today. We are supposed to have the tail end of those storms hitting the North (causing all the flooding) hitting today. Gonna be just plain MUGGY today. Gotta run out and pick up checks today from the bank, we ran out. OOPS! Our son stopped by this morning early, visited with me a bit as he won't be here Fathers Day. It was nice to see him. |

And of course, my ear ache is still with me. Carmen brought home some stuff to help clean out the ear wax, but I think that the irritation has set in for the long haul... Here is a smooch from the girls to the guys... although it might be the other way around
