The the idea of group therapy used to make my hair stand on end, lol, Star.

Now, I am so grateful for it, I really don't know how to say how much it has helped me. But it is scary at first. It may be scary for a while, for that matter. But that's part of the point -- learning through practice that you can gain confidence in the situation.

Acknowledge how you feel, I guess, first off, Star. Sometimes we want to run away from ourselves and how we feel, but we need the feelings, too, to feel alive. Feeling weak is o.k., but it doesn't just necessarily mean that you can't find a way to feel that and still be o.k. with yourself.

Star, the hardest thing I've ever had to do and still have trouble doing is admitting I need help, accepting the fact that there are people that would like to help me, and then permitting myself to be helped. You are in charge of that for you -- too.

Hey Barb, Star, and Kimmi - How are you all this bright shiny cold morning?

I am ok. Slept in really late. My daughter has my car, so I can't do anything till she gets home. I was going to go groc shopping.

Star, sorry you are not feeling that well again. I think the therapys should help you.

Hey, Lainey, the dreaded "S"-word is on the ground here. Just enough to make everything kinda' white and make you not want to go out in it, lol!

Yeah, we had the dreaded "s" word the other day (thurs) and a little ground cover Friday am. We are in for a storm tonight with about 1' or 2" of snow. YICK. Good thing is, I get to park in the garage again!! Yeah, so I have a nice warm car. No snow to scrape off.
