MDJunction to me

djfilippone"Before I found this site I felt so alone.  Watching my daughter struggle with IH and being treated like she had two heads from doctors.    I have plenty of family and friends but there was nobody that really knew what she was going through.
I not only have support and love from others who will listen and share their
story, but I have made some forever friends.  Having this support site does make a difference to many.

Cool Good Morning, Everyone!!!!!

(It's been quite a while since I had time to do this). I'm off today because my niece is getting married AND my daughter is graduating from high school (too much to do already, LOL). I have 3 more days of work left, as we have to make up some of those snow days from last winter. They are expecting a record high in the 90's here today and the gym where my daughter is graduating doesn't have air!!! I hope we don't all melt.

So, for breakfast I think coffee, tea and a fresh fruit salad! Hope to have some time on later this morning when maybe somebody is awake! LOL

Hugs to all,

Tee

Smile Smile Smile HAPPY FRIDAY DEAR FRIENDS

Morning Carmen, Terri and Glenn....

thank goodness for the weekend...it is going to be hot and dry here as usual this time of year...Southeast Texas...temp 92 in the afternoon. The only reprieve is an occasional afternoon shower...which raises the humidity to steam room levels...Cool Cool

On the bright side it is good for our skin...never too dry. There is always a bright side...Grin Grin

I know this is twice in the same week (I am hiding under my desk as I type this) but I am going to disagree with Norma AGAIN. There is no bright side to anything over 75 degrees......LOL! Texas, vegas, arizona....YIKES!!! I was in las vegas once in August. I thought the temp at the bank was wrong when it said 120 degrees. Is that even possible? Was it broken? Until I stepped out of the car and some of my fat melted down my leg. It is going up to 90 here today. Luckily it only happens about three times a summer, otherwise I'd move to Alaska.

lol, bejeweled I believe she was speaking in reference to the humidity being good for our skins, no one in their right minds would consider 90+ degrees to be good unless you are Satan and then it would be to cold for you..

For me the humidity sucks even if it is good for the skin, skin is what they make moisturizers for.. I hate stepping out of a shower and feeling like I need to get right back in from sweating so much..

Well, y'all as much as I enjoy chatting with you, time for me to lay this body down for some rest, have to work this evening, 4 to 1030, and it is truck day today, so there will be lots and lots to do..no biggie though I enjoy truck day as it gives me something to do besides wander around looking for something to do in between waiting on customers.
