MDJunction to me

jenniferdiva"MDJunction has been just an amazing support for me. The people who are on mdj are so nice! Unlike the many other support sites that I have been on. I have made several friends on mdj who are so supportive and so educated about mental illness. Of course non of us are doctors, but we certainly offer each other hugs, opinions, and advice. I have learned a great deal from my friends on mdjunction. I am also encouraging other people who suffer from mental illness to come on to MDJ. It can be a life line." (jenniferdiva)

I have recently been diagnosed. The first med my doc put me on gave me a wicked rash all over so he told me to stop taking it. Since I stopped my thoughts have been RACING! I can't think clearly, the only thing that does come out clear is pain. If I hit my arms hard enough than for that moment I have clarity, I have one feeling only, even for just a few moments. I have xanex but all that does is put me to sleep. Uhhhhhhhhhhhggggg!

Hi and welcome. It does take some time to get on the right meds, a lot of people here have experienced that. I was lucky and whatever i was given it helped me.

Once the right meds are found for you, your symptoms should disappear and it is possible to live a fairly stable life.

Glad you've found us, the people here are wonderful and very supportive. Feel free to post wherever you wish. You can also pm (private message) me or any group leader.
