Does anyone feel like they just got done smoking one. I mean I feel like everything is 5x as hard on Depakote. What are some medications that can slow me a little but not so I dont feel like I just got done smoking one if you know what I mean.

Lamictal, Lithium, Abilify, Trileptal,Topamax, plus many others.

Geodon does it at first, I guess. I didn't continue with it, because I was so tired, I couldn't move. There are alot of other meds.

Look up bipolar meds online, too. They have a whole list. You can look up all the side effects, and it will say whether it causes tiredness, or not.

God Bless,Gypsy

Depakote will do that to you. Especially if your doc is changing your dosage alot. try to stay on the same dose to let you body adjust. it gets better after that. otherwise yes, heavy legs and feeling drunk were the main ones for me. i couldnt even drive sometimes becasue i'd weave all over the road without realizing it.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I am over that stage now and it was just like you said. My doctor recently changed the dosage and it took some time to get use to the new dosage and Depakote for that matter. Now that I am more active I feel a lot better and don't feel like vegetable anymore. Thanks Again rsc78
