Why wear a ribbon?

"I proudly wear this ribbon in support of my wife and son who both have bipolar." (Nightbreed)

MDJunction to me

"All I can say is that this has been the best place ever. It has been six to seven months since I joined, and I have learned so much. I now believe in myself and accept myself on a completely different level. The people on MDJunction has been so supportive and accepting that I have been able to adopt it into my personal life. That has reduced a lot of stress in my life. Thanks to all." (bunny_fly)

I came across this site and I am just searching as I don't sleep. This is so new to me, so I really don't know what to say. It's all in my profile, but it's just sooo hard to have this and deal with this alone. I have a sleep doctor, but I sometimes just don't take my pills (like lately) cuz of comments people make to me. And it's soo hard cuz I have no one to talk to about it. My sleep doctor also said I should be talking to someone, like a psychologist or something...uhh, I tried and got NO WHERE!!! That was a big waste of money I don't have. Well, I don't know much about how to respond to things, so I'm gonna try to figure this out!

Welcome Beth, glad you joined...this site usually has someone on it 24/7. There is a thread in the Lounge called Anyone Awake if you are awake during the night and want to talk...that is a good place.

You are not alone, there are lots of us here.
