Anne of Green Gables was my favorite too....glad you are named for her. Books were my escape also growing up, still are. One of the funniest things I have ever read was when Anne was floating down the river and the raft sinks...and she has to be fished out...I still laugh at that...the drama of it...so funny. Glad you joined the forum....it is nice to have people here to get to know.
