My name is Pamela and I really don't know what I am doing, but I thought I might be able to relate to anyone who is bi-polar and can't seem to get grounded, is anxious, and stressed. I have been bi-polar for about 15 years, but mostly on the depressed side, so this mania is really awful. I am a christian and go to a women's sunday school class. It is really awesome for the support that I get but unless you are bi-polar, and I have been severely manic lately and am having trouble with my job of almost two years, I think it is hard to be understood. Look, I am just babling on. I have a 22 year old daughter (I am a grandmother of 3 Months), and my 18 year old son joined the Army and is in Hawaii. I have been divorced almost 3 years, not quite offically all that time. I am lonely and could use a friend or two. I am also a good listener. I am a substance abuse counselor and lately can't seem to put two sentences together. Please say something! I also have osteoarthritis especially in my knees and that makes it really hard to work, and basically, my neck, and back are shot too, but I am not giving up without a fight. [img] [img]

I also suffer from osteoarthritis and it is very painful. To Newbie, what are the natural supplements that you are using. pmusgrove1

Hi pmusgrove,

Welcome. I am glad you found us.There are many wonderful people here who you can probably relate to, who have bipolar, and those who lave them.

I was diagnosed 5 yrs ago, but just got on meds a year ago. I know what you mean about going through the cycling. I am on 2 meds, but, continue to cycle anyway.

I used to work in a couple of treatment programs. They were best jobs. I think I kept those jobs the longest...LOL

Congradulations on the new grand baby.

God Bless,Gypsy
