I have been on this site many times and joined today. Diagnosed 01 10 08. It has helped and I guess it was just time to do this.

Thanks I am still getting used to the site so I am all over the place trying to see if someone replied.

I was revieved the first month. But I miss the ability to takeover and rely on the mania. Especially for work. Now I am even and I have not felt this way in 8 years. It is like learning all over again. I skipped work today because of axiety.

It is hard.

Well I just had a freak out. How long until you accepted it and the behavioral changes catch up with the meds? I just seem to be on an even level but I am relearning like I was 12. I am scared and that is not easy to say. (easier to type under the name hawker I guess) I am just realizing the changes and recognizing wasted time and trying to get a handle on it

I got really scared this last year, too. it seems, that my cycles have gooten worse. I replayed the horrors from 7 yrs ago. So, I can relate to the fear, and the overwhelm, and the frustration of how long it takes to get stable. I finally got to the plca of realizing, that, i am going to have this illness the reat of my life.

I am on meds, but, they don't fix it completely. I still cycle, but it isn't as intense. I just appreciate the good days, and hang in there on the bad days, and try to not hurt people in the meantime.
