Good morning everyone!

Looks like I'm the first one up again. I forgot to log off last night - oops. I'll get the coffee and tea started, but I'm in the mood for bagels and cream cheese today, so I'll have to run to Panera for those. Since everyone is sleeping, it looks like I have time.

Stan, your plan to change the climate to make it suitable for penguins seems to have started. It's freezing cold here. So cold in fact that I may not have work tomorrow. (They don't like to let the children get frostbite waiting for the bus). I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Back to Sunday again. Does anyone have any plans?

On Thursday, Valentine's Day, we have parent-teacher conferences. I'll be stuck at work until 9:00 pm.

Well, I've taken out Virpup, and got things sttarted around here, so I'm off to get the bagels. Hope to catch up with you all later.

Bagels sound good Terri. Strawberry cream cheese sounds good on them.

Events of the day: Church and wife taking the grandkids back home.

Whats on your agenda today Terri?

Laundry (never ending), groceries (-10 windchill, 2-4 inches of snow, should be fun, maybe husband will come with me if I cry), possibly volunteer at the animal shelter. I usually just send my daughters for that but with the weather??? And hope for a day off tomorrow.

Terri, go ahead and use the cry. It will do him good to get out with you. Give the daughters the choice between laundry and animals, give yourself some breathing room today.

Tomorrow evening, I'm going for highlights. I'm so looking forward to it, which I know sounds strange. But it's time to myself when I can't take care of things or do things for anyone else, just sit quietly and browse magazines while the color takes. Almost talked myself out of it and was going to do the color myself, but my mom assured me I was worth the cost and deserved it. Gotta love my parents.

I agree with MOM. You are worth it and the time for you is like GOLD.

I try to promote my wife going to do the hair thing and get her new make-up. It just does wonders for her. It doesn't hurt my feelings much when she gets all purdy'd up either. I like it!

Good Morning Tee and Red,

Tee - how in the world do survive in those extreme temps? Thanks for getting everything ready this morning... I can tell you and Red are one of those morning people - you know, the kind that once they wake up they hit the floor running! I hope you do get the day off tomorrow - tis always nice to get an extra play day! The coffee is perfect this morning Thanks again Tee Smile

Red - Do you get your grandbabies every weekend? Mine don't live close enough for that and golley gee I couldn't imagiine having all 7 of them here for the entire weekend - think I would be pulling my hair out!

I am helping my daughter with her studies this morning (hemodinamic monitoring) and then headin for Conroe (1' 45" drive both ways) for one of my grandson's birthdays. He turned 10 on the 7th.

Time for another cup of coffee - maybe the second cup with get my eyes open.

Hope you two have a fun fill relaxing day!

Hi, Dawn,

I don't survive it very well. I just want to stay inside and make my husband build a fire in the fireplace - forget about the groceries, who needs food? lol. Sometimes, I fantasize about moving to Jamaica, living on the beach and collectling shells to sell to tourists.

So cool you get to go to a birthday party. I'll miss you today, though. Have fun if I don't talk to you again today. 10 years old, double digits!

Good Morning Terri, Red and Lustrious,

I am just making coffee now and dont want to go anywhere. I am not feeling well. My new meds and bad thyroid has made me gain 25 pounds. I am in a depression I think and I violated some peoples trust last night by going on a prayer phone call and not identifying myself. I just let the prayer leader no it was me and feel like I just burned that bridge.

Lustrious, do you live in TX? I even feel bad about posting how bad I feel. I hope you can understand.

Tee - I'm with you! Let's move to jamaica and live on the beach! I used to love beading so am sure I could some jewelry from shells Wink I agree who needs food especially with a wind chill factor of -10. I think I would rather starve than get out in that - In fact I would most likely freeze to death before the car heater even got warm! My chances of survival would be much higher taking the starvation route Smile

I have three in the double digits now. My oldest is 14, two 10 year olds, a 7 year old, a 5 year old, a 4 year old, and a 1 year old. Guess that could be expected after having 4 girls and My son has yet to marry so I know there are more to come! I only thought Christmas was expensive when I was raising five kids - Christmas is a killer on the pocket book now Wink This does not include all the Birthdays! So this Nonnie heads back to work - the grandbabies are going to love me going back to work more than anybody else I am sure!

I have always said my kids are my sunshine and my grandbabies put the twinkle in my eyes Wink So So True!

Still sitting here waiting for Candice to arrive - she better get a move on or she is going to miss out - LOL

Try to stay warm if at all possible!

Hugs,

Lustrious
