Hi, My name is Brooke. I have been diagnosed bipolar for about 10 years, I have only been on meds for about 3 years. I always tried to handle it alone, never talking about it or seeing a dr because I did not want anyone to think I was crazy, although not being medicated made me appear that way anyhow lol! I have been off my meds for the last 11 months to have my youngest daughter, I just got back on one med, depakote, yesterday... so for right now I am really feeling pretty awful, so upset this morning I could not stop vomiting(the way I handle my rage). After talking to my mother who suggested I look for a support group I did just that, so here I am. I have only one person in my life that understands what I go through and that is a childhood counslor that I still keep in contact with. It hurts that my husband does not understand, he thinks I should be able to control myself without meds, and that its all in my head. Owell, dont want to bore anyone, I hope to meet alot of people that can understand and not judge...
