 No kidding... Spending the New Year at home while my wife is at a psych ward is so depressing... I can't imagine what she is going through right now.. Here's to 2008 being one of hapiness and joy!

 yes--Happy New Year everyone! 2007, for me, was a bizarre year. some good, but most bad. Let's all agree that 2008 will be a much better year!!

 Glad to hear it Terri, I know for me this past year has been better than the last several..and I am looking forward to a better year this year..

 2007 was nothing short of pure hell for me - so I know that 2008 will be better and I am looking forward to LOTS of good things happening for me - it really has to be better. I had a quiet New Years Eve, just me and my hubby at home - we watched the ball drop from Times Square on TV, and then stepped out on the back porch to watch the fireworks across the lake - very beautiful - Some teenagers were having a bonfire on the beach a few houses down and were having a great time, sparklers, and music - it's so nice to see people enjoying themselves. Anyway - Here's to an awesome 2008 for everyone! Happy New Year!

 Where do you live? That sounds so lovely. I'm in Northeast Ohio. It's cold and windy, and they're forcasting 5-8 inches of snow by morning! When I took my dog out this morning, I thought we might both blow away. I need to move, lol!

 Hey Terri - I live in Central Florida - yea, come on down, love to have you here in the sunshine state. It's raining today and supposed to be in the 30's later, but up until today it's been sunny, clear and in the mid 70's.

 Joyce,

It got even worse. I took my dog out a 2nd time, slipped on the ice and fell down the deck steps. Now, my hand ia swelling below the left thumb. I hope this isn't an indication of how the New Year is going to go, lol.
