Hello,

Well I have been off of my meds for almost a month now and I am starting to "backslide". I was good for a bit but things are starting to close in on me now. The meds I was taking was not helping and the doctor did not seem to do anything about it so I told him that I was not going to take any meds that were not doing anything for me. I have not kept my appointments, been calling and canceling them and coming up with some weird and wonderful as to why I cannot make it. I have been an awful person that has become such a good liar here lately but the lies have all caught up with me. While apologizing to my family, I was told there was no such thing as bi-polar and I need to quit using that as an "excuse". Also I have been diagnosed as ADD.

I have three boys that depend on me and I am not setting a good example for them and my mom thinks that I should not have custody of them. I am otherwise a good mother, cooking, spending quality time with the kids, things that moms should do.

Sorry to unload on everyone, just had to get things off of my chest!!

Take Care

You need to get back to the doctor. If you do not agree with your previous doc - switch! You sound like you are in a serious situation and the stress of the possiblity of lossing custody of your children could trigger something you are not prepared to deal with. I too have 3 boys and know that I would die for them but I have to get treatment in order to truly be there for them. Please seek a different doc and get some help!
