I'm not necessarily new to the group, but I finally got my computer to give me the tool bar so I can chat with all of you!Laughing I love this website and I look forward to using it more now that I have a working computer. Thanks to all of you that have sent me messages and welcomed me into the group. I just thank all of you for being here. I have a very hard time relating to women in particular and have only about 2-3 real women friends, all the rest are guys. I am happily married for 7 years this October and am needing advice. It seems everything I do, I'm always second guessing myself and asking others what they think, when I know other people who don't have this disorder make mistakes too. When I take the initiative and make decisions, it's seen as being manic. This just isn't true. I can be a very outgoing person, I think I'm just so very gun shy at this point that anything I say or do will be seen as being manic. My husband is very supporting, but he can also be very judgmental when it comes to me making decisions. I'm a very fun loving person and I hope you will all give me advice and support. Thanks for listening. Smile

I'm an Advocate

Hi Scooby, I'm glad you got your computer to work for you. Chatting can be fun, I do it periodically. I sometimes have a hard time relating to women also, but here I tend to do very well. I don't think when you make decisions people shouldn't think you are manic. You must be indecisive usually. I think if you tend to make more decisions in the future people will quit thinking this way. I'm sorry your husband is so judgmental. Could you sit him down and have a conversation with him regarding your feelings? I think that would help you a little bit. All in all, I think you are doing a great job, you just need to work on second guessing yourself. This can be overcome with therapy. Please feel free to message me anytime if you need to talk. I will help you in any way that I can. We will all be here for you anytime. Keep posting we love it and will be here.

Thank you for your support. I already feel better to have someone responding. I do have a problem second guessing myself and I really do need to stop that, thanks for the feed back on that. My husband is understanding and has agreed to go to counciling with me, once we have the money to go to counciling. Thanks again I appreciate your support.Laughing
