Hi, I am a college student studying Psych. I want to be a marriage counselor for adults with autism. (Very specific, I know, but there's a real need for it!)

Online support groups got me through my freshman year of college, and I eventually made friends IRL to support me. Lately, though, the despair has been hitting me in the middle of the night, and while there are people I could wake up, I would rather not do that regularly. So I am looking forward to participating here!

HI!! Persephone...glad you joined. If you are up in the middle of the night and want to visit, go to the Lounge section and look for the Anyone Awake thread...there is usually someone on most hours of the night.

Another lonely college student! I haven't been on here too long, but this is a really great group. Very good for college students that are up at all hours of the night. Smile

Yay college students! Not everyone gets it, I know, but some people are really understanding (like my friends!). Anyways, what I'm saying is, it gets better.
