Hi. This is the first time I have ever even thought to try an online group for Bipolar but I have dealt with the illness for 16 yrs and still dont know nor understand myself. I have as well as most people been through alot and alot of abuse. I love my life with 4 wonderful children whom live with a lot of issue's themselves. I am not sure how to kick off this group thing but I came in looking for people who could help me understand myself, know people who live with bipolar or with people who have bipolar and to meet people who wont think i am crazy just b/c i am bipolar.

HI Mandy!! I too just joined yesterday and this is my first go at support group also. ME-lifetime dealing with it, diag. 13yrs. Two kids (teen-agers) with issues part due to living with a nut for a mother and part just teen-age issues. I've found people here to be welcoming, kind, and non-judgmental. Everybody toting baggage, ya know!! Any-hoo! Welcome!!!
