I just joined the group. I'm Megan and I'm 19 years old. I was diagnosed with BP last year when I finally changed doctors to one who would listen to me. It has been a horrible journey, I must say. I now am on meds and they are finally ones that work too. I am so happy that they work, like jump up and down happy. I still have anger issues and issues of letting things go.

My support system has been my mom, step-dad, brother, sister and boyfriend. I honestly do not know how they put up with me. I have a history of violent behavior but I have really calmed down it has been at least a couple of months since my last outburst. I haven't had any real depression issues. I still get sad once in a while, but it is nothing like it used to be. I also used to cut. I can proudly tell you it has been about 4 years since I've done that, and it was one of the hardest things I quit. So I competely understand where people come from on that.

I guess that is all I really have to say.
