I thought I would say hello... if you don't mind I'll just post my profile info since it says it all... and save me time from type it all over again, since I type sooo SLOW! lol

Chato B. Stewart, That's me is a Mental Health Advocate - Cartoonist - and a few other things! One of those other things is a father of four! I'm a Bipolar surviver and After my last mental health vacation in march 2008 I new I need to rethink my life.

One thing I add was taping in my limited talent in cartooning to help me deal with the day to day stuff. In the CSU, I started drawing cartoons, namely for my our sanity and also for the "kids ward".

When i got out I thought it would be a great idea to try and draw cartoons for our (consumer) point of view and maybe I would “Using Humor to Heal and Educate with badly drawn cartoons.”

I'm happy to say it's starting to come along, we have a website and a blog, and i just won an award for my blog and this weekend (6/7/08) my local Drop-in-center

is have a grand opening and ask me to showcase my work.... LOL wont they be surprised when they see I cant draw...lol

Anyway, I'm glad I found this place.

I'm an Advocate

Welcome...I am a big advocate for using our sense of humor as a means toward health. When my sense of humor is awry...is means I am getting sick...same for my son. We are both bipolar. Glad you are here.
Comments made by me are from my own experience and they are my opinion alone, whose intent is only to share that opinion and not to give medical advice nor discourage from seeking medical help. Medicine is best left to the professionals that is what they do.

LOL, thanks every one.... I have been to a few other forums... not at this place yet... One made me feel like I was some creepy spammer, causes i wanted to post a few cartoons. A few other places I went to did not care what I posted... since the last 5 post were for porn and Hot Men and and ad for sending out mass e-mails.... But here I feel a little more welcome, so thanks for making me feel that way. I look forward to talking to most of you, some of you I'll avoid, and some i'll ignore... but I'll be kind about ....Smile

Oh is it ok to post my url when reply?

lol, Welcome Chato, I loved the photo myself, and your pear to pear was a crack up, about your url, isn't that what you have above your photo? I personally love humor, and like Kim mine tends to be more toward the sarcastic side of things.
