MDJunction to me

scotty04901"MDJ to me is an added phase in my recovery as a 44 year survivor of a TBI. I hope that with what I have lived through in those years, will be able to help all those who are just now going through. It is important to understand that even after 44 yrs, I am continuing to recover and to evolve. I just hope I can help others." (scotty04901)

My 25 yr class reunion is this weekend and I've been excited about going, but as usual when the event gets here I decide not to go. I'm feeling dark, ugly and so down that I can't make myself even get out of the bed to prepare to go. I have to go buy an outfit, and a few other things. Thee anxiety is so heavy I can't think. Everything is jumbling around inside my mind as to what I should do or as to how I should even go about doing it. I need someone with more knowledge than me to help get me thru this situation. I am 43 yrs old and live with my mother and have no one else to turn to.

So sorry that your having anxiety and feeling down. Just take the pressure off yourself know that you can decide up until the day of the reunion if you want to go or not.

Take baby steps maybe go to the hair dressers and go for a coffee today just treat yourself! I would also suggest contacting your psychiatrist you don't need to suffer. Good Luck and I hope you're feeling better soon. Beth

I have to second wht Fierosmom said. Just try to do one thing at a time. Even if it's just get out of bed. Keep setting yourself small goals and concentrating on one thing at a time. Before you know it, you will have accomplished a lot.

Also, please call your pdoc. You really shouldn't have to suffer this way. Take care.

Lisa

My advice is purely personal. I am not a Doctor and there is NO substitute for getting proper medical diagnosis and advice.

Bipolar II, Depressed Severe

Lamictal 400 mg
Seroquel 150 mg
Effexor 150 mg
Inderal 10 mg
Ambien 5 mg
Lithium 1200 mg

I agree, call your pdoc, nobody deserves to feel that way.
