My medicine keeps making my have bad dreams. I find mysef waking up depressed. This morning was worse because I was woken up aagainst my will by my daughter and her friend who were going out of the house at 7 am. I bolted up and all of a sudden a wave of agitated depression. Everyone got their heads bit off and at 7 am, my only concern was vaccumning and doing laundry and everyone needed to get out of my way. When the energy wore off, I was left in a depressive state. I know I radid cycle, but this was ultra rapid cycle. I am starting to feel better now, but I still don't feel like myself.

The worst part of this is knowing that I have no control. I can physically feel the symptoms coming on, but I am helpless to do anything about it.

I ust wanted to put this out there into the cyber-void. I hope everyone else is doing ok.

That's exactly what happened to me this morning, except I didn't have the benefit of getting any laundry or cleaning done! Laughing

Seriously, though...it's so hard to wake up in a good mood with horrible images lingering in your mind. Does this happen often with your meds? Which med do you think it is? Ever since I started Lamictal I've had negative dreams.

Ever since I started the lamictal I have had the most vivid and bizarre dreams. During the day I feel the med has really helped with the lithium to stabilize me. I don't know how I feel with the added side effect of psychotic dreams??????Prior to lamictal when I was just on the lithium for mood stabilization, I didn't remember dreaming at all. I slept very soundly. I just don't know sometimes the dreams are so bad they have lingered with me for days.
