I'm 19 and my best mate was Diagnosed with Bipolar about 7 months ago. His parents wouldnt make him take his meds and he was doing pretty bad. So I decided I wanted the bloody best for him and I took him in. He's 19 also.

Monday(March 12th) will be a year since his brother has passed. And he's not doing good at all. He's so out of it and it's so hard to even get his attention. I'm feel defeated and at a lost here.

So if anyone could help me with getting to him and even help me and keep my spirts up about taking care of him.

Thanks.

Mike

Heya Mike!

Forgive me for not meetin' and greetin' you, but I had a manic episode about ten days ago, and I am just now "bouncing back" to normal(?).

Welcome to you and your mate. Maybe you can persuade him to join with this support group. Isolation just doesn't work!

Keep coming back!

Regards,

Jim

Hi Mike!

I agree with Jim here (as always ) - try and talk into presenting himself and his story - it'll do him good...Jim and the other members has a lot of experience and will be happy to hear him out and support him.

cheers,

David
