My best friend ex girlfriend I believe is having a manic period. How does it end? Will she crash into depression. She doesn't need me in her life right now due to this, but I will help if she crashes?

Manic episodes can go from weeks to months. A person can even cycle in a matter of minutes.
~“Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength.”

~“Confront the dark parts of yourself, and work to banish them with illumination and forgiveness. Your willingness to wrestle with your demons will cause your angels to sing. Use the pain as fuel, as a reminder of your strength.”

~ August Wilson quotes (American Writer, 1945-2005)

Bfoster...we had talked about this in another of your posts...about talking to your therapist, and getting some help. Trying to predict when the manic cycle of your ex-girlfriend is just spinning your wheels. Predicting someone else's behaviors is like trying to predict the weather...the weather man can tell you all about the conditions but, no one knows when the sun is going to come out after a storm. It will happen when it happens...take care of YOU and deal with what is going on with you and your health. Planning on being there when she crashes is just going to prolong the inevidable. The fact that you guys broke up.
"In the time of your life, live-so that in that wondrous time you shall not add to the misery and sorrow of the world, but, shall smile to the infinite variety and mystery of it." William Saroyan
