Any good resources on finding a doctor? My ex-boyfriend has been having issues over the past few years. He contacted me and said he wants to see someone. He asked me to help him find someone. I am trying to get as much information as possible! I tried googling it and asking his doctor for a recommendation. I figured though to get some advice from people who have actually done it themselves!

Hi gatank,

Contact your county mental health. Nami. com might have some resources.

Look in phone book in the mental health section. Call the local mental hospital. These are a few suggestions.

God Bless,Gypsy

Gatank, Gypsy gave you a great bunch of places to look, NAMI is one that I believe would be very helpful and contacting your local mental health, you can also check the doctors list here for your area, see if anyone has posted any. click on the find a doctor on the left side of the page.

Hi Gatank,

Does he have insurance? Most insurance companies have a list of providers. That is how I found my current doctor.

Good luck.
