Is it a online group or in person group in your neighborhood? if it is a in person, I would say ask any of your people that you have that want to join when would be the best day for them, and then take the majority rules. I am attending a NAMI group meeting tomorrow night Tuesday at 615pm, they meet once a month on the first tuesday of the month, you will want to consider what would be the best time, generally 6 to 7 pm is the best, that way people have time to get off work, clean up and change etc.. Online of course you don't have that problem, it's open 24/7-365 and if you want chat times, you just ask your people in the group for a concensus.

For people with bipolar or for people who are married to, dating, son or daughter who has it? Are you actually wanting to set up face to face or something on here where we can all sign in?

I am all for having a face to face support group especially those of us who have spouses that have the disease. Where are you located?

You can start off by having a once a month meeting, say at 7pm, and then go from there as to how many to have and adjust the time according to what the group wants, where do you plan on having the group? a lot of churches are willing to offer up a room to use and some schools or the hospital might help with that.
