That same damned person is following me...I have done the same thing...also afraid when I check the front door at night and it is unlocked...lock it quick before someone pushes on it...IF THEY DID I WOULD DIE OF A HEART ATTACK ON THE SPOT...LOL ROF

i truly think i may have had several heart attacks in those particular situations. i have to sleep with my noise machine on "spring rain" because if i heard all the noises at night, i'd be positive someone was in the house with my boys and i and i would freak! i have this huge german shepherd/black lab mix that barks a good game but would lick a burglar or worse to death rather than defend us he's just not a watch dog. i always hope the bark alone and just seeing him will scare away a bad guy.

damn bad guys...whomever they are...they scare the hell out of me...

how about when you're walking along and you are in a crowd and you start to feel like you recognize everyone you see...does this happen to anyone? i used to be ok with it, but now it scares the shit out of me. it just happened when i was in florida at this restaurant where i've never been. every person that walked by looked familiar and like they were just waiting for me to say something and acknowledge who they were. creeped out!!!!!!

that is something I've never really feared, I've noticed the creaks and groans that the house will make, when Glenn first started his rehab down in Columbia, and would be gone for the week, I laid awake most of the first night, but after that I relaxed, and didn't have a problem, never really had the problem of worrying people were following me, but of course one thing that you all need to remember is to be aware of your surroundings. never walk and look at the concrete, keep your head up, and look around, makes you less likely to be considered a victim.. do the sensible thing, park under a light near the door of where ever you are at in the night, check your back seat prior to entering the car, and don't just sit there, start the car and drive...

As far back as I can remember I always needed the tv or radio to fall asleep to. Also to this day I cannot sleep in a dark room, I remember visiting my Nana when I had my first daughter and insisting I have a light on in the guest room....lol!

I remember as a child I always was afraid the house would burn down, I would go as far as to pack all my stuffed animals in a bag before bed...just in case. What a terrible thing for a kid to think!!!! Unfortunately I am still panicky about the fire thing.

blackbird...I have to have a light on too...especially if I am alone...I am very nearsighted and can't see well...

I grew up during the Cuban Missile crisis and used to have horrible dreams about nuclear war...if there was lightening I was sure it was a nuclear bomb going off...we used to have drills in school where we hid under our desks...like that was going to do any good LOL

Hmm. It says on the little instruction paper that quetiapine (which is used more I hear for BP 1) can cause increase in paranoia and irrational fear.
