I no ya'all aren't Doctors. Just hoping someone has experienced what I am going thru. And it is off topic of Bipolar & I just don't no what to Dooo..

I have had this problem for several years. I haven't been to the Dr. for it. I get this stabbing sharp pain in my right side of my abdomen area. When it happens. I can't walk up stairs, gosh I can't pick my feet up to even walk normal. I have to slide my feet across the floor to get where I need to go. It hurts to breath. It hurt to cough, I can't bend over. It's totally PAINFUL. When I pee it hurts like heck & that lasts for a day. The next few days I feel bloated & gassy. And thats the end. This happend just 2 weeks ago?So I'm good to go for a few more weeks. It will happen again.

I thought it was kidney stones but I really don't no?I look up symptoms for that & it doesn't really match up. My back hurts so bad in my kidney area & in my lower back area. I am so dang tired. I feel drained.

I went to the Dr. before the painful episode occurred because my back was killing me & they said my urine was clear. I didnt have any infection. I think I will call tomorrow and see what that tests for!

Anyways thanks for any information,

Amber

Hi Mom of 2 rugrats- Maybe you should print your post and bring it with you to your next doctor appointment. It is too easy to forget to tell the doctor something when you have 2 rugrats running around!!! I hope you feel better soon (((HUGS)))

I have had a similar problem and was told it was a kidney infection. I know you said you didn't have infections but my symptoms were bad back pain, pain when I urinated and just sharp pains. A later appointment confirmed that I had sists and when I ovulated it was irritating it. Not sure if that helps but I hope so. I would tell my doc

Hey Amber, have gall bladder checked, possible gall stones too. Wife had same issues about 4 years ago and had to have gall bladder removed and the bile duct cleaned out (several gall stones). The pain and issues were similiar to appendix but much more intense pain. Wife said she had a hard time even finding a comfortable position to even sit in. Issue will reoccur on a regular basis with a vengence.

Call the doctor, get an appointment ASAP. Don't take a chance with your health.

GOD BLESS

RED

RED!WOW, That is simply amazing!!I went to webmd (one of my favorite websites LOL). Looked up the gallbladder/gallstones. Describes pretty much everything thing I am going thru!It describes having upper right back pain. I have been going to the chiropractor trying to get rid of this HORRIBLE pain I have been having on the upper RIGHT side of my back. Having only a day of relief & then the pain comes back? The website says if only have had one attack, you should be fine. After a 2nd attack or more you may want your gall bladder taken out. Well, I have had more than 20 (probably more than that havent been counting them) of these episodes thru the years!

I just called the Dr., left a message for the nurse to call me back to see what we can do!

Just thought I would let everyone no, the Dr office called this morning. The nurse talked to the Dr. & the Dr. had the receptionist set up an appointment for me to come in. I go tomorrow. When I talked to the nurse, I mentioned about the gall stones. She asked me if it was up high. She said the pain tends to be higher up. And its not. She said that didn't mean anything tho, the pain can be in different spots? It's probably just a cyst. I called to make sure which ovary they took with my hysterectomy. And I still have my right ovary. Soo, I will probably just have to live with the pain. ARGH. Get it checked out to be safe anyway.

Hey Amber, I don't know about where the pain should be, for me prior to having mine out, I was just slightly nauseous, my brother on the other hand was puking his guts out... best thing is to just get checked out, we just had to put my mom through surgery for a stone in her bile duct, that the doctors and I both believe was there since her gallbladder surgery 12 years ago.

HI - I didn't have gallstones but I had acute gallbladder disease with 'sand' in my gallbladder. They said that is a bunch of mineral/crystal like stuff that hasn't formed stones.

I had nausea, and sharp pains up under my right ribs and upper right backaches, and felt crummy off & on for a few weeks. All went away after gallbladder removed.

Have also had ovarian cysts removed. When some of them burst it was such severe pain I went to the ER.

Thats why I advised printing your post. It sounds like so many different things, maybe your doctor would know from some clue in the post. Good luck at the Dr.s

hey Amber, let us know what the doc says.. prayers are with you.

The new laproscopic surgery they do makes the healing time much less, Mom has 2 little scars, I have 5, Doc said mine was the worst he had ever seen and was kinda sorry they didn't open me up like they use to do to get it out, guess it made for a lot of extra work on his part, want to hear something funny?

I told Glenn after his having his knee surgery and me having to literally wait on him hand and foot, that the day was coming when I was taking me a "Me" day, if he wanted to eat he would cook, if he wanted clean clothes, he would do laundry, etc.. that I was doing absolutely nothing for him or me, he would have to do it all, lol, up and including possibly having to wipe my butt for me, well, after the surgery, I had a drain tube in my side, I went to use the restroom and found that I could not turn to wipe my tail, he had to come and do it for me, I cracked up for the rest of the day, even though it hurt big time to do so...
