 Can you go to "college" if you have Disability Setup for your self. I am really wanting to know this.

 I believe so. I think the only thing they have a problem with is working. But are you already receiving ssi or applying? b/c if you still in application phase, then yes it is a problem. It shows that you can handle it.

 I got SSI now, I have completed application phase. So I am good to go right? Could there be some more gotchas along the way???

 there might be but you can look at www.ssi.gov I believe the site is and make sure or just call and ask. But yeah you should be ok until your review comes up. Because if you start school and manage to complete it that will be taken in account when your review comes up.
