Medication questions

I just would like to get some feedback on my current meds. to see what others may think. I am currently taking Lamictal 200mg daily, Topamax 200mg day, Xanax Xr 2mg day, and Ambien only when I absolutely can't sleep. Unfortunately, I can't take an SSRI's due to the switch it can send you into mania. BUT, I still basically don't fell well - not really happy, sad, or calm. Just a general uneasiness all the time. I see my pdoc and therapist once a month and have tried many a cocktail. Do I just need to give it just a little time to see what happens? Anyone tried any of these meds. before - with or without luck??

BIPOLAR I - PANIC DISORDER

I take Lamictal, and Lithium, and Buspar, and Ambien as needed. I have been given Hydroxizine, recently for anxiety.

I have bipolar 1, too. I can't take SSRIs either. I get manic on all of them.

I have taken Topamax, but, it didn't do much for me. I take Lamictal 400mgs. I really like it. The Ambien works really well when, I take it.

I have never taken Xanax, but, took Ativan. It was too sedating for me.

I don't like feeling doped up.

When, I take mood stablizers, I get more anxiety. It also helps me sleep. It helps relieve my tension.

My pdoc gave me hydroxizine, last week. It is really good for anxiety.

I tried taking it at night, and I couldn't sleep.

The fear of going in public, and anxiety in the grocery store, all were gone. I must have some OCD going on.

So Buspar is very mild, and isn't as effective, but, helps relax me.

I have stayed with it, because it's not a narcotic, and I don't like Ativan, or xanax. Hydroxizine isn't a narcotic, either.
