Too funny because that is what I tell my son who is bp...I told him just the other day..."Do you actually think that everyone in the world has absolutely nothing better to do than talk about you and wake up everyday with one common goal in mind and that is to see how bad they can all screw his day up....NOT!!!!" Nice try but I hated to tell him that I think we all have other things that are important enough to not worry about how we can all screw up his day...smile and move on my friend!

That's funny Kimmy, and how very true, the world doesn't have time to think about us, we ain't that important, alcoholic's go through the same kinda thing, everyone is picking on us, it ain't our fault we lose a job, quit a job, etc... I worked for a transportation company one time that hired primarily alcoholics in recovery, one guy was told to show for a interview at 11AM, he wondered in about 2pm, when i told him sorry the position was already filled, he told me but you don't understand I am a alcoholic, I can't be expected to show up on time, after I picked myself up off the floor from laughing so hard, I introduced myself, I am Carmen, recovering alcoholic/addict, the look on his face was priceless. Sad to say though this is part of the illness, and a hard thing to break.

Carmen
