my bipolar hubby has made a lot of mistakes in his mania and a few have recently caught up with him. he's been in jail since last wednesday, he's in pretty good spirits for being in jail.i had to jump through a million hoops, but so far he's receiving all the medication that he needs. i'm just so scared right now. i don't know how long until he comes home. luckily he's been stable for a few months so i think he can handle things better than he could if he weren't. has anyone else been through this? it's so painful, you know how awful it is to know your hubby is making all these mistakes, but there was nothing i could do to stop it! he was out of control and now he has to pay for what he did. i miss him so much!

I'm so sorry Jenn. I know this sucks. my bf has made plenty of mistakes that led him into trouble (probation & house arrest) and now may cost him some time in jail. I completely understand how you feel. Keep your head up & stay strong. as Norma said, we're here for you xx

Hey Jenn, I am sorry this is happening, but maybe you can look at it this way, he is going through a learning curve and this will help to let him know how important it is that he stays on his meds, and gets his treatment, hopefully in the future you will not have this worry.

thanks everyone for your support. i feel somewhat relieved that we won't have this hanging over our heads anymore. it's just scary waiting for the decision of what will happen to come down.
