Hi.

I just want to vent. I don't need responses...

I'm so overw helmed! The classes I'm taking are wonderful and the profs, too, but I cannot seem to get my mid working well enogu to complete one sentence on critical thingking and analysis.

I'm owrking more hours than I should be, too. One of the ladies broke her leg and now the boss and I are shring her hours until she can come back to work.

I cannot sleep tonite for all the problems in my life are hitting as my mind is racing.

I began 50mg lacmictal a rew days ago, but it is not working quickly enough. My p doc says I will probably need 200 - 300 mg for maintience and I won't get there for another month.

How am I to function without my mind!!!???!!!!

Thanks fo rlistening.

I'm soooo sorry you are so overwhelmed at the moment. It sucks so bad to be in that place I wish I had some pearls of wisdom to share with you but sorry to say I don't. I just know that where you are is a suckish place to be, but it does get better, with time.

Wishing you better days (and nights)

Take care and keep us posted as you can,

redrose and ranb started a little ‘group hug’ to MsBimbo.

I think we should all join and give her a hug, as she would be the first to do this to us if needed…

then they fight you
then you win.

MsBimbo, no advice, no suggestions just blessings from me coming your way. I hate having that feeling of everything overwhelming me. And right now you have 3 huge stresses. And let me say I am so sorry for the loss of your cat...especially happening so recently coupled with your life stressors. I send you support and blessings that your life will even out so you can feel some sort of peace. From reading your post Idon't know if you were in a hurry but you misspelled a lot of words. You might want to talk to your doc about lack of focus. I love you and wish you the best.
BE BLESSED!

Oh, Thank you all so very much! I am so blessed to be apart of this community. Today, I had a break between classes, which, incidentally, I chose not to drop, so I checked my email and guess what? About half of this community hugged me today! No wonder I was able to make it through the day.

I spoke with a phone help line last night to help sort out the stuff which was keeping me awake. It helped a bit.

Today I spoke with one of my professors who was quite gracious and real in his response to my dilemma. He told me he knows enough of me from talking a few times as well as other professors words of support for me. He told me he knew I had the ability to be quite eloquent when necessary and succinct when needed, too. (LOL sure don't see it happening tonite in this post!)

Anyway, I got an ego boost and felt heartened by his words of wisdom and encouragement. This followed the mass hugging from all of you!

Don't you know, I was so encouraged, I decided to stick it out for the time being with my classes.

Next week begins the 100mg of lamictal. I feel so much better knowing there are kind and compassionate people still in the world.

God Bless you All!

YAY MsBimbo! You sound in such better spirits since last post. I'm so glad for that. I'm thrilled to hear the community reached out to you in your time of need. That's the way it should be! Hang tight and I know you'll shine through!

IF you are attending college-may I suggest something--get a doctor's note with your diagnoses on it; and that you are under his/her care....then make an appointment with like the school's special services department (ie--if you were a student with a physical handiap). This way your illness is documented and your professors can be alerted to some degree and help you with any special needs you might need (extensions, missed classes, ect)

Tears of joy. Smiling inside and on my face, too. Very tired and sore feet, but my heart is lite with hope.
