Hi, I have been taking Topamax for several months. I take it along with Zoloft. I really like it. If I don't have it, I'm not a nice person! Doesn't work well for all tho?Most people don't like the side effects of slow thinking, etc. My Doc. described it as a great medication, but at first it makes you feel like a wet noodle?She told ME that the side effects of that SHOULD go away within 3 weeks. I had my dose bumped up some time ago and really never took it like I should have been, then I went off of my p.m. dose completely for a week (not recommended!) And then it messed me completely up EEKS..So, the side effects are really new to me..I was really tired for a bit, that is finally starting to wear off. I got the tingley feet, strange feeling, but that side effect wore off for me?I still feel like I'm extra cautious with everything I do, which is not a bad thing, but I feel sloooow moving/thinking..I get a feeling like my stomach is full alot, like I'm not hungry. Or my stomach growls, but my head is telling me that I'm not hungry..but my stomach is?? CONFUSING!!!I guess that's about it for me? If I can think of anything else, I will let you know.
