I've tried a lot of sleep meds. Currently taking 2mg. of Klonopin for about 1 month, 1-2 hours of sleep and then my eyes are open til dawn, my work day starts. Lunesta didn't do that much.

Any suggestions??? Really want some sleep. I don't want to become more active as a result of sleep deprivation.

I've tried most others. Anyone out there with a good sleeper.

Hi John,

I take Ambien occasionally. I had to have my meds adjusted, and once, I did, I could sleep, again. I also take Buspar, and antianxiety med.

Welcome to our group. I am glad you have found us. Hang out, vent, and share, and ask questions. There are at least 1000 members here...lol

God Bless,Gypsy

Hi, I am now taking Seroquel and it knocks me out for a good 8 hours. Before that I was taking Trazadone & it worked well for about 7 years. It stopped working or I got crazier so had to change. lol Ask you shrink if there is something else that may work better for you.

I was on alot of different sleep meds. I was on serequel too. The one i found to work best but it was a few years ago was restoril. Nothing worked for me but when I was on serequel and Zyprexa they had me take two of those and I would get like 6 hours easy which is great for me.

I love my Ambien. When I was on seroquil I'd get up in the middle of the night and have to hug the walls to walk. My husband would find me at 5 am passed out on the toilet.

I liked ambien. It helped me. I also tried seroquel, and slept so deep my poor kids couldn't wake me up to feed them breakfast.

Thanks for all your input. My pdoc gave me a sample of Rozerem. Good sleep for 8 hours. A little groggy today. It really works. It is the medication you've seen advertised with Abraham Lincoln and the hedgehog someone's dreams. How are Abraham Lincoln, a hedgehog and sleep connected? Hmm.
