ever hear the one....

always wanted one, but never found anything with any meaning for me. then, i started watching this show "weeds". i love it. young widow with two sons is left without enough $$$$ to sustain her lifestyle, so starts selling dope to her suburban neighbors. it's the best. it's a showtime thing.

well, at one point, she gets indebted to this real bad guy named "u turn". thankfully, u turn dies and she gets out of the debt. but he taught her some stuff. one of the things was "thug means never having to say you're sorry". one of the things i'm really working at is not saying i'm sorry 1,000 times per day for nothing. i also need to get tougher.

when u turn dies, nancy goes and gets a tattoo of a u turn street sign (subtle) on her but to remind her of these things. i decided that's what was for me months ago, but today, i just went and did it. it's so cool!!! i'm going to try to post a pic. it's already making me feel reminded that i'm stronger than i think i am.

Yay for all of us!!! we can do lots more than we think.

gypsy, i related to the show so much, too. i never sold drugs, but a lot of my suburban mommy friends did and they sure all smoked them. weird times, weren't they?

That sounds so awesome. I am again one of those that has always wanted one but too chicken shit to do it.
