Dear Amber, I can totally relate to everything youre going through with your friend. I know how difficult it is to put your foot down and say "no more of your crap". I also understand your need to be surrounded by kind, understanding people and believing that somehow she can change and become one. Dumping a friend is like a death, but people die and we get through it...You have the right to choose your friends. I've had to dump a few myself. As far as forgetting meds, get yourself a pill organizer and fill it once a week. That's the only way I can be sure what I've remembered to take. Best wishes and strength. psk |
