MDJunction to me

aTinaL"To me, Mdjunction comes down to motivation. The support and information I have found here motivated me to take a very proactive stance regarding my illness. This led me to find medication and doctors that are giving me my life back.
More important than even the motivation, though, is the friendship I have found at MDJ. I have made some of the best friends of my entire life right here in this group. Even though most of us have never met, it feels as if we have known each other for years.
If Angels walk among us, and I believe that they do, most of them are here at MDJ.

Gosh, neondreams, I would feel like a walking pharmacy! I hope you don't take offense to that, I wasn't trying to insult you. I don't like taking the 3 meds I am taking, but I will do whatever is necessary to get a life.

Meagan,

No offense taken. Smile

You're right. I do take alot of meds.

You may be surprised to learn that taking 5 meds for BP isn't uncommon. The average number of meds someone with BP takes is 4.

When I was initially diagnosed with BP, I was on 2 meds. (Depakote and Risperdal) Once I started having problems with sleep, rapid cycling, severe depression and anxiety, several other meds were added to my regimen.

As for the other meds I take, 2 are for migraines, 2 are for allergies and 2 are for asthma.

By the way, sometimes I do feel like a walking pharmacy! LOL.
