 Any tips on finding a support group in my local area for me --a spouse of a bipolar person; and one for my husband--the bipolar person? Any good links or websites to find one of these?

 Check with the facility where he is inpatient at and/or his doc, doc's nurses, etc...

 Another place that you can check is www.ndmda.org for support groups in your area.

This is Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance. It has support groups listed for all the states.
