Hi there,

I like to garden.I have a huge back yard. I have a lot of room to play with. I can't wait til last frost, so, I can start going crazy. That's not until may, though.

God Bless,Gypsy

We have a huge field in behind us, but it's not ours, so I will have to settle for a small garden, just on the edge of it..but that is cool, I don't need 30 thousand pounds of tomatos..

Idaho is a really wierd place to garden. I put in a bunch of tomatoe plants last year, and hardly got anything from them. I got a lot of zuccini, and broccoli, though. I have a lot of roses. I have flowers in the front yard, and veggies in the back. I have to put fences around my garden spots, or the dogs will trample on them, and dig, and lay in them. So it can be challenging. My lawn is huge. It is a lot of work to maintain it all. So it can be nice to have a smaller yard.

Hubbies, got a riding mower, so he could mow the entire trailer park in under three days.. if I plan on doing a in the ground garden, will have to rent a tiller, I was just thinking about a raised garden, and that way I will not have to hassle tilling.. haven't decided yet, and will have to consult with the owner of the property prior to doing anything..sucks not owning your own land.. of course there is always the garden pots you can do..that's something I can think about, I don't believe he will have any problem about it, as it is unused land, so we would not be interfering with anything he wants to do.. Going to put flowers in pots around the deck, and maybe see about planting a few rose bushes.. finally finding myself actually wanting to do something..

I used to love to garden. Now my yard and garden spots look like crap. I'm hoping to get back into that this spring. I bead and I sew (straight line only). I have decorated a log cabin and frames and some other stuff. I too am short on storage space.

In my mind I see all these great things I would like to be able to do come spring, but it is going to be able to do them that I am having the problem with...lol..

I don't think that the owner will have much of a problem as long as it is tasteful and improves the appearance, he at least let me paint, you should have seen this place when we moved it, I don't think it had been painted in over 6 years, there were so many holes in the walls from nails, I thought it had been shot with buck shot.. took me 2 days of non stop plastering to get them all filled..then painting just the kitchen and livingroom, mind you now this was just like a 12 x 12 kitchen and the same for the livingroom, ceiling and one wall, took two gallons of paint and I need more just to redo do them, if money had not been so tight I would have used a sealer and primer first... maybe if I can get this work schedule of mine under some kinda control, I can actually start doing things..

Hey all,

Said I would post some photos of things I've painted... So, I guess I'll do them in a couple posts. Smile
