hi, all-

well, i went to the new doctor. he seems really great. he's very smart and definitely a little "off", so of course i find him endearing. lol. he listened and he is getting me on some medicine, but one med at a time, so we can actually see what works instead of just starting out with a cocktail. he actually told me he knows we all feel like guinea pigs, and said that the truth is, we are. he admits that it's really individual as far as what will work for each person. i like feeling like an individual

in any event, he gave me some seroquel because he wants me to start sleeping. took a dose and slept for four hours. we'll see what tonight brings.

thanks to all, especially petermason and gloria for staying up all night with me last night. that was really fun, even though i know i shouldn't have been awake all night. i'm going to try to lay low tonight and get some sleep. i'm really feeling hopeful and appreciate you all as friends.

peace.

Sorry I couldn't be there last night for you. Had to get some sleep myself. Isn't it funny the things we worry about never happen. Sounds like you "clicked" with the doctor. I am so glad for you. I have been looking for you all day. ((hug)) norma

thanks, amom. i won't stop worrying either. who knows? maybe our worrying is what stops that 90 percent from happening, and we just don't do it "hard" enough to stop the other 10 percent. lololol

Hi Zinnia,

I am happy for you. Your doctor seems like a good one. It does suck when you can't sleep. It's been nice seeing you on the boards. So keep coming back.

God Bless,Gypsy

Hip, Hip, Hooray for Zinnia, this makes me very happy today, I am glad to hear that you like the Doctor, and that he seems to understand what we have to go through to get to feeling better, I hope the med works for getting you some sleep, bipolar or not missing your sleep can F you up pretty bad..

I got a little over 6 hours last night went to bed at 10, lol, yesterday was a long long day, up a little early for having to work tonight, but that is ok, will nap later.

Zinnia, when do you see him next?
