Heya Norma,

If you can open the startup menu on your pc, got to the control panel, go to the mouse icon, you can change the "sensitivity" of the mouse and the speed of operation.

My wife has myoclonus and cerebellar deterioration which makes it necessary to modify the mouse.

I am always looking for a speech-to-text device so that she doesn't have to use the doggoned mouse. She insists, however, on using the mouse, because it gives her practice with eye/hand coordination!

Dizzy Jim

Thanks Jim, I will try that I am an older person and this whole computer thing is very "buck rogers" to me.

Norma, don't knock yourself. You are fine and learning more every day. I use the computer a lot - in fact, I'm the "technology liason" at my building. And I still have problems switching from my desktop to my laptop. It just takes practice. Look how far you've come with your avatar! Hugs, Terri

LOL, Norma, you sound like me. One day the principal came and asked me if I wanted to learn about computers. I said "HECK, YEAH." That's how I became the Tech person!!

Hi Norma Terri and all,The sun is shining here its about 36 outside so some of the snow and ice is melting Temp in the greenhouse was around 70 it felt so nice that hubby and i got to work.Every year we have a big halloween party in the greenhouse by then there isn't much going on we run the greenhouse seasonally ...Anyway we tarp off sections of the greenhouse move all the growing benchs to the side and get very creative with the decorating.now its time to get the growing beches back in place do repairs painting etc...and inside its planting season soon I will be overwlmed with transplanting duties .The Geraniums are up!!!!and the lobelia and some of the petunias so even if the outside is cold I'm growing little green things and I do mean little those lobelia seeds are nearly invisable.

Norma-I know there is something that happens that slows everything down if I accidentally hold the shift key down too long. Someone who "gets" computers tell her if this is something that could help her or if I'm talking out my nose.

Hankdog, you are funny and sweet. I love the picture of you and your little girl, too. And you're right-Norma's not fat. The gals talk so much about fat on this page and you see a picture and they're not fat at all. I guess bp women hate our bodies as much as any other women. Well, to get you back for telling my how warm it is where you are, Norma, I'll tell you that my nickname is "olive oil" and they always want to give me the meds that make you gain weight. Unfortunately, it's not that model kind of skinny, more like the flat chested, tall and goofy kind of skinny...lol...no woman is ever happy with what she's got looks-wise-hair, body, you name it...just goes to show bp or not, we're all on this big, blue ball together.

amom, that sounds so nice. I just picture that huge greenhouse. I was wondering how you grew flowers up there with all that snow...we don't get petunias down here in the nursery until March. by the time i put them in the garden the heat is too much for them. I love to grow things too.

digging in the dirt can be the best therapy some times...I would love to have a greenhouse, amom. What a fabulous idea for a party! What state are you in that your weather is like mine here in northern michigan?
