 Hello, I am also Biipolar. I have never taken that so i'm not sure what to tell you but wanted to say hi and welcome if you are new. Give it a little time and someone who has tried it will read ove and offer some support.

 You are welcome. I know the one thing that made me stay in this group was the quick response I got. In the outside world (outside of being bipolar) people seem to not think it is as serious as it feels and dismiss you. Here everone just looks out for each other. I respond because I know what its like to feel alone and ignored. Hugs to you too!

 I hope neither of you ever feel like you are alone in this site, there is generally someone around, even in the late hours, I am not able to be here as much as I was, since I am working again, but I am on for a few hours in the morning/afternoons, and then back on again in the late evening/early morning.. I try to get to everyone as quick as I can, but sometimes even then it takes forever..lol, I get a average of 225 emails in this site alone, not to mention what I get from the other groups I belong too..lol.

 Hi-I, too, always try to respond if I can since I joined this group. I took Risperdal a while ago but I can't tell you if good or bad, as I was on a lot of other meds at the time and didn't do well with the combo. I haven't tried it again, but there's a specific forum here for med questions. You should try going there and posting as it's true-if anyone knows here, you get a really quick response.

BTW-Carmen, you are just great. You are obviously a caring and wonderful person and reading your posts always gives me a lift. Thank you.

 You've been doing very well Zinnia, one of the most important things I believe here on the group, is to let the new comer know that they are not alone, even if you can't offer them help, somewhere along the line, there will be something that you can relate too and offer help on..

Thanks for the compliment, and I am glad that I can give you a lift..having been alone and having to suffer in silence here in the real world for so long, I want to let others know they are not alone and there are those that will be going through what they are and can relate..
