I always feel as if I have a "Jekyll and Hyde" personality(ies). Does anyone else feel this way and is it all part of the Bipolar 1? My psychiatrist says I have learned to "act" well when I have to. I see it more as two people in one. There's my nice, pleasant personality where no one would even imagine I have such problems...and then there's my nutsy, erratic personality that is so opposite the first. I've always felt this way, so I assume it is all part of "the problem". Opinions??? Have a good weekend!La2620

Hi La2620, Welcome! It's funny you should mention about the comparison between Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde personalities but I'm married to a type 1 bipolar person and that's exactly how I would describe her personality. One moment she can be a loving, caring compassinate person, then the next she can be ranting and raving and out of control. No offence meant to you, but that's the way she is. Thanks! Sledge
