MDJunction to me

cinderella"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

Hi, I was wondering if anyone else is going through the same thing as I am. I am currently 26 weeks pregnant and haven't been able to go to sleep for the last three weeks. I've gotten like maybe 1 or 2 hours a night but that's about all. My doctor keeps putting me on more and more antipsychotics to help me sleep but it's not working. She currently has me on 2 mg of Risperidone and 6 mg of haldol. I was wondering if the antipsychotics could be what is making me have insomnia and what I could do to help me go to sleep. Thanks.

Hi, welcome to the group. Congratulations on the baby. Have you asked your doc for something to help you sleep? Maybe he/she can help you out.

I cant imagine how tough that is for you. I do not have Bipolar but can tell you the insomnia that came with the second and third trimesters are brutal.
