Does anyone ever have days that they just plain don't think they can be around the human race,? I've had several of those over the years, and today feels like one of them, not quite as bad as the others have been, but there none the less.

Have to work this evening, but thankfully it is evenings, the largest part of the people contact will be over with by 8pm..and the customers will never know, I have learned to hide it so well. It's just one of those days when you pray you don't get some idiot to deal with.

Carmen,

I call them my "shut up, shut up, shut up" days, cuz that's what goes through my head all day long anytime anyone says anything, including my kid. I HATE shut up shut up shut up days. I'm sorry you're having one Maybe the nap will have helped with that a little? I just usually stay to myself as much as I can, cuz I know I'll just take someone's head off if they look at me cross-eyed. Hopefully work will pull you out of it. If not, take some comfort in the fact that they usually only last for a day or two...

In learning to know other things, and other minds, we become more intimately acquainted with ourselves, and are to ourselves better worth knowing.

Oh Carmen - You are NOT even close to being alone on this one! I have days where I do not want to know that another human being is alive, and I am not a happy camper when I can't get away from them!

Like Kate said - those days usually pass in a day or two.

Big Hugs,

Lustrious

Carmen, I can TOTALLY relate to you. I feel this way 24/7...and like you, have learned to hide it . My psychiatrist says I have learned to "act" well. Just know you aren't alone in your feelings! LA

Thanks everyone, after getting to work, I kinda thought that it was a premonition of things to come..lol, it turned out that the lady that was suppose to be training me who hasn't been, was doing exactly what I thought she was doing, running to the boss saying that I wasn't doing my job..lol, put her in a clothing store and I would spin her head for her where she would not know if she was coming or going.. never have worked retail in a drug/cosmetic store before.

Hiding the way that I feel inside has become second nature, for me I find it absolutely amazing that I love to work retail, when most of the time I could murder 3/4 of the human race and not lose a wink of sleep..lol..

I use to keep a Xanax chaser for my I hate people days, they would really get to where I wasn't safe around folks, but I don't have those anymore and don't want them around me.. the feeling has pretty much passed now, so the human race is safe from me once again..lol,

Hubby use to say that he didn't marry me to protect me from the world it was to protect the world from me...rofl.. One thing in Glenn's favor is pre medication days, he could tell by the look on my face when it was time to get me out of somewhere because of me going in to a panic attack or a rage..lol..

Thanks everyone for letting me know, I am not the only one who has these days.

If you need your "sign" I have it out at my Mom's.
