I have been playing this piece on piano and listening...

The music touches my soul

Empty Chairs At Empty Tables

My heart cries

What do you think?

I also have music going through my head but I have not written it down.

I have been so sad the last few days.

I am trying to get past it.

I promise.

I am trying to hold on.

"If you could read my mind you would be in tears"

"Who cares when I cry"

"A smile just hides the tears we hold inside."

For me the phrase "empty chairs at empty tables" gives me the feeling of expectation. Imagining at any minute the doors will open wide and a throng of chatting friendly people will come in and occupy the chairs and tables. Soon the entire place is filled with the smell of good food and the sound of silverware, glasses, and laughter floats like a cloud over the room.

Hope you are feeling better soon. {{{HUGGGGG}}}

I will not share all of the lyrics but here are some...

There's a grief that can't be spoken.

There's a pain goes on and on.

Empty chairs at empty tables

Now my friends are dead and gone.

Phantom faces at the window.

Phantom shadows on the floor.

Empty chairs at empty tables

Where my friends will meet no more.

I have been playing it on piano a lot.

It is absolutely beautiful and you can feel it.

That is just part of the song.

Alone...

"If you could read my mind you would be in tears"

"Who cares when I cry"

"A smile just hides the tears we hold inside."
