I've been married for a short while, and I honestly don't believe that I can ever thank her enough for all that she has put up with...

It occurred to me that people join here who are helping/supporting their significant other who actually has the illness. I would personally like to thank these people. I know if it weren't for a very supportive and understanding SO, life would be much harder for me.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I think that's a wonderful thing to say. Most of the time I feel extremely lucky to have my SO be so understanding.

I honestly hope that someday Katy will feel that way about me. I'm no saint. Obviously there is some need that I have being met by living like this....but I do love her and want her to get better.

Tis strange but my SO (well we don't live to-gether - week end - which by the way is a very good way to go)

He has Aspergers. Yeap an Aspergers is not able to get in one with emotions, they don't understand emotions in others and how they feel.

This guy I trust and very much. Have known him man a boy for over twenty years now. And the big things I like about him is He always tells the truth an Aspergers thing ie will tell you anything warts and all. He also reads about emotions and has a great deal of therory.

He has taught me to calm down a bit (I don't write emails telling others off in a most unreasonable hysterical manner anymore) while he has been able to learn from my over emotions.

So there you go. Two opposites who get on very well.
