Someone called yesterday to say that my car is abled to be repaired. I was so relieved. Today, a few minutes ago, I got another call from a man saying that it is not able to be repaired. I have been crying since. I don't know what this means. I have good insurance but I feel like I am in hell. This is too much to take and I still hurt. Earlier today my doctor refused to see me even though I have severe back, neck and head pain and I cannot straighten my elbow. He actually sent his NURSE in to say that he would not see me. Life is HELL and I am questioning if I really am in HELL. HELP

I am so sorry that you are going through all of this. You must be beside yourself being in pain and under such stress. I'm sorry to hear of the setback with your car. I hope you are able to get a new car soon. It isn't right that your doctor will not see you when you are in such a state. Is it possible for you to go to an urgent care center?

I am truly sorry about your car, but you're honestly better off totaled if it's that bad than being repaired. A car is never the same after a severe accident. Torque on the engine pushes things out of alignment and then they become more difficult to repair and the frame could have been compromised. Cars are replaceable. The important thing is YOU. You need to find a new doctor. That's unbelievable about yours doing that. I've never heard of someone doing that to their patient before. Please go back to the ER and get your elbow x-rayed. Then find an orthopedic doctor or back specialist BEFORE you settle with your insurance company and get your back and neck looked at.

It is 3:04am and I am afraid to sleep.

The hell? What kind of doctor would do that to such a good person? Thats messed up. I hope everything works out for you.

I really like buffernaut's suggestion about ditractions when you get in a loop thinking about the accident.

I am so sorry about the car. You were so excited that it could be fixed! uppitywoman is right though if it has been in a bad enough accident many things are compromised in the car and you are better off without it.

This has been a real rough time for you with the accident and the doctor and now the news about the car. Try and relax and take care of yourself.
